Our Story:

 

Plaza Electric was first opened in August of 1986 by Dan & Elaine Slagle in Ford City, Pennsylvania.  With help from their daughters and some others, Dan & Elaine had soon out grown their location.  After a few years they decided to move to a bigger location.  Right on Route 422, this building had much more space, however it needed a lot of work! After a few months they had a large lighting showroom, a fully stocked electrical supply shop and a warehouse for storage! Just a few years later the upstairs was added and provided abundant rental space for small businesses! As time went on, the business continued to grow and improve.  With help from their family and friends throughout the past 36 years, Plaza Electric has become a major staple in the Kittanning area.

 

In March of 2014 Dan & Elaine decided they were ready to slow down, however not fully retire.  Today the store is owned & operated by their 2 Grand-daughters, Jess & Cass, who have been around since day one when their mother helped build the business alongside her family.
